Decron is presently hiring a Residential Community Manager. The Community Manager’s role will involve overseeing the daily operation of a multi-family residential apartment community. A major part of this position will involve the supervision of community staff members, including the Leasing Consultant, Assistant Community Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, and the property’s Porters and Maintenance Technicians.
The individual hired for this Community Manager Job will have a number of responsibilities, primarily grouped into community leasing and marketing, financial management, administrative duties, and personnel management. General functions include the ability to maintain a budgeted monthly occupancy, while generating and collecting associated revenue. To facilitate this, the Community Manager is expected to develop and execute effective marketing strategies, and coach the leasing team to help reach these goals, while also participating in tours for prospective tenants, and ensuring that rent is collected on a timely basis. At all times, it is essential that resident relations are managed with the utmost of tact and diplomacy.
Other duties of this Community Manager Job include a commitment to closing the sales of new units. The Community Manager should see each prospect through the rental process from start to finish, greeting prospects and taking them on tours through focus units while highlighting amenities and other attractive property features, and following up after the tour to close the sale. They should ensure applicants qualify for Decron’s rental criteria, process applications, and prepare leases in a timely manner.
Key financial management, personnel management, and administrative duties include the review of monthly financial documents, the preparation of annual budgets, the monitoring of all administrative paperwork for accuracy, maintenance projects for quality and expediency, and the use of effective leadership techniques.
